At the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons got some sweet retribution on ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith.
At Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Parsons was the star player for Team Shannon, the celebrity game coach of Shannon Sharpe. The Cowboys star, who helped Team Shannon defeat Team Stephen A 100-91, was voted the game’s MVP. The massive pass rusher dominated Smith’s team on the floor with 37 points and 16 rebounds. In addition, Parsons delivered a few more punches as he accepted the MVP award for the Celebrity Game.

Micah Parsons Makes Fun of Stephen A. Smith, a Known Dallas Cowboys Fan
Parsons let his play speak for itself during the postgame interview with ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth, but he couldn’t resist criticising Smith. According to Parsons, “Stephen A. had the best lineup on paper.” “He was a basketball creator of every kind.” We heard everything, really. However, all of my teammates played with heart, and in the end, you can’t outplay heart. Smith’s team included excellent hoopers like basketball content producer Tristan Jass and Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud. Jass finished with 10 rebounds and 27 points, while Stroud led the team with 31 points and 9 rebounds. However, none of the performances were good enough to defeat Team Shannon and Parsons for the MVP and championship, respectively. Hubbarth inquired further into Parsons’ apparent conflict with Smith. Parsons had the last word in the NBA Celebrity Game of 2024.
I stated earlier today on Stephen A.’s podcast that I won’t be the MVP. If a Dallas Cowboy showed there and ruined his day, he would be condemned. But surprise! His day has been spoilt once more. Did you cross him yesterday? Take it out on him now. Yes, Stephen A. Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys reiterates his claim that Stephen A. Smith’s All-Star experience was ruined.
Parsons was alluding to the “crossing” that happened the day before, when Smith was allegedly crossed up by the Cowboys defence during the practice session for the celebrity game. Smith allegedly tried to defend Parsons and wound up in the hospital. Parsons not only grabbed Smith’s ankles on Thursday, but he also defeated Smith in the game on Friday. Of course, Cowboys supporters would much rather see Parsons triumph on the pitch, especially in the postseason.
