Prince William visited Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney and coach Phil Parkinson at the Racecourse Ground on Saint David’s Day.
Consequently, what happened?
The prince visited both the Red Dragons stadium and the neighbourhood pub, The Turf, where he and McElhenney sipped pints on the day honouring Wales’ patron saint. Luke Young, the first team captain, and Ben Tozer, the club captain, gave manager Parkinson a Wrexham jersey after their meeting.

Prince William had a meeting with the Wrexham coach and players on Saturday during their pre-match training before of their vital League Two encounter against Accrington Stanley. At the Racecourse Ground, the National League champions will host the squad in 15th place.
FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM?
The three points from the match over the weekend are desperately needed for Parkinson’s team. They are only three points behind League Two leaders Mansfield, who take on Newport on Saturday, despite being in fourth place right now.
