The final Championship league table has been predicted by Bookmakers.
In the last days of the summer transfer window, there was a frenzy of activity as Championship teams throughout the nation raced to complete last-minute transactions in an effort to give themselves the greatest chance for the long road ahead.
Despite the fact that the new season has only had five games, there are still 41 games for clubs to play in order to make it to the Premier League’s promised land. While some clubs struggled to sign the players they desired, Coventry City is generally pleased with the deals they have made, despite the fact that Mark Robins was unable to sign a dynamic midfielder to help fill the void left by Gus Hamer. There were varying degrees of success on the transfer front for clubs.
Leeds is second-favorite to return to the top division, followed by relegated teams Leicester City and Southampton, who have also spent big this summer. But as we’ve seen in previous seasons, it’s not just about how much money you spend. Current leaders Preston North End and Ipswich Town will undoubtedly hope that’s not the case.
How have the chances of promotion changed now that the window has closed? Oddschecker experts predict that Leicester and Southampton will win the automatic promotion spots, while Leeds is predicted to advance to the play-offs and the Sky Blues, who were Championship play-off finalists in May, are predicted to just miss out this time.
