Leeds United has already made a choice regarding Luke Ayling, thus the team will allow the contracts of the two to expire this summer.
Luke Ayling has said an emotional goodbye to Leeds as he begins the last few months of his Whites contract. He is now on loan at Middlesbrough, a Championship team. But along with a number of others, other important players like promotion heroes Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas also have contracts that are about to expire.
According to Football Insider, the team is ready to say goodbye to Sam Byram and Dallas when their contracts expire in the summer.
Players from Leeds United who might leave Elland Road this summer
These two, who have a combined 440 club appearances, stand out among the ten players who could be going. Dallas hasn’t played since sustaining a femoral fracture in April 2022, but Byram signed a one-year contract with the Whites after making an impression on Daniel Farke, his former Norwich City boss.
Another definite departure is German defender Robin Koch, who is presently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
In the meanwhile, if Sheffield Wednesday is promoted back to the Premier League, Ian Poveda, who has enjoyed his time on loan, is probably going to depart the team.
Liam Cooper, a club hero who played 282 games for the Yorkshire team, might be another player leaving Elland Road this summer.
