In his second season as Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers said he wants to spend more time in Scotland.
After a contentious departure for Leicester City more than four years prior, Rodgers returned to the Hoops hot seat in the middle of June.
If we’re being completely honest, things have been a touch odd ever since. While the transfer window ended up being a bit of a last-minute scramble, the team hadn’t really looked convincing in any of its matches.
On Sunday, though, things seemed to alter as Celtic overcame a variety of difficulties to defeat Rangers 1-0 at Ibrox. It might be the significant outcome we required to shake off the dust and commit fully to the second Rodgers era.

After a challenging couple of weeks, Rodgers and Celtic have regrouped. Even if there are still many tests to go, we already wish everyone could return.
