In a media appearance, Mullin stated [via @RobRyanRed on X]: “I never want to hear them sing about how we can never win when we’re away from home. What impact does that, in your opinion, have on the athletes representing their team on the field? I understand that the main goal is to have fun, and after spending their hard-earned cash, they should be able to, but some of the guys have been talking about it, and we don’t really want to hear that.”

With goals from Mullin and Max Cleworth in a 2-1 comeback victory away at Colchester, the Red Dragons are now four points behind Stockport County in second place in the division. Wrexham appears destined for automatic promotion to League One next season, barring a dramatic collapse, with MK Dons behind them by two points despite having played one extra game.
FUTURE PLANS FOR MULLIN?
Phil Parkinson’s club may find that the final four games of the season are crucial, and Mullin will try to guide the group to League Two championship and automatic promotion. On April 20, they will play their only away game of the season against Crewe Alexandra.
