After that, McClean joked that teams like Newport County, Accrington Stanley, and Tranmere could rejoice by taking home the “we beat Wrexham cup.”
“Thank you for winning the Wrexham Cup this season, Newport, Accie, and Tranmere. Enjoy your celebrations, and we hope you enjoy ours,” McClean stated.

Can McClean remain at Wrexham?
Last summer, McClean, who was previously with Wigan Athletic of League One, signed a one-year contract to join Wrexham.
With four goals and 13 assists in all competitions this season, the 34-year-old has been a key player.
