Michael Beale is being urged to find a successful team after being warned that his next Rangers error may cost him dearly.

This season, the Light Blues’ performances have been inconsistent, and a 1-0 derby loss to a Celtic team that was missing several key players at Ibrox has increased the pressure on the manager to almost maximum volume. On Saturday, he leads his team to St Johnstone in an effort to generate the much-needed response before facing Real Betis in the Europa League.

Craig Moore, a former Ibrox defender, can see the strain mounting on the Londoner and is aware of the noise, but he thinks a stable starting lineup could aid him in a situation where no more errors can be made.

He certainly cares about getting the athletes on his roster out there and producing outcomes. Michael Beale is fully aware that both Rangers and Celtic are under a lot of strain.

“He’s in that scenario right now where there’s a lot of pressure, and every game right now, any slip could be deadly. The players must, of course, stand up in response to such pressure.

“This break, I predicted when it occurred, won’t be wonderful because you need that game in two to three days. What Michael Beale needs to do, in my opinion, is to clearly select his starting lineup of players who he believes can go out and win football games, then let them develop.
