West Ham defenders Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos are unlikely to play against Manchester City, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that for them to play, they will have to show positive signs in training in the days leading up to the game on 19 May.
With Kalvin Phillips ruled out for the season due to an injury, the Hammers may have three players unavailable for David Moyes’ final game in charge of the club.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“There is a good chance that one of Aguerd or Mavropanos are ahead of the other in terms of recovery based on the injury specifics and how they’re responding to rehab.
“We obviously aren’t privy to those details.
“At this point, I would say it’s unlikely for either to feature on the final day.
“Should either of them show positive signs in training over the next 24-48 hours, then perhaps a late fitness test may be on the cards.“

While there is not a lot riding on this game for the Hammers, there is for City, who need the three points to win the league ahead of Arsenal.
Not having two central defenders in Aguerd and Mavropanos will undoubtedly be a tough one for Moyes and may hand the initiative to Pep Guardiola’s side to score goals at their will.
Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogobba started in the 3-1 win over Luton Town on the weekend and may be in the eleven again for the Irons.
