The Foxes are off to a strong start after leaving the Championship, and they are now in third place, just one point behind Preston North End.

This is true even if the losses of James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, and Youri Tielemans in the summer were difficult for new manager Enzo Maresca to handle.

Even if the 2023–24 campaign is far from over, the fact that the players on the ground are responding favorably to Maresca’s strategies is heartening.

One who has started the majority of the Foxes’ contests this season might not continue to do so for very long.

Gazete Vatan reports that Wilfred Ndidi is interested in moving and is open to Fenerbahce’s proposal, though it is impossible to say at this point in the transfer season whether there is still enough time to complete a deal.

Given that his contract with the club expires in a year, and that this is likely to be the last opportunity for them to profit from any transfer, the publication also claims that Leicester itself is looking to make money from any sale.
