Red Bull, a part-owner of Leeds United, may be crucial in persuading players like Archie Gray to stay at Elland Road come summertime.
Paul Robinson, a former England international, stated that the extra investment could persuade elite players, like the 18-year-old, to stay in an interview with Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.
Red Bull has acquired a minority ownership share in Leeds, which will bring in further cash investment, the club stated on May 30.
Robinson did issue a warning, though, stating that it will be challenging to hang on to ambitious players given the interest shown by Premier League and European teams.
After an outstanding debut season with Daniel Farke’s team, Gray is a summer transfer target for Tottenham, according to a report published by Football Insider on June 6.

Players like Wilfried Gnonto and Crysenico Summerville have also been heavily projected to depart the team during the summer transfer window.
Summerville, Gnonto, and Gray are unlikely to want to play in the Championship the following season, sources previously told Football Insider.
Robinson thinks Red Bull might be the difference, but Leeds will have a difficult time persuading their key players to stay at Elland Road past this summer.
He said to Football Insider, “Daniel Farke will want to do things with his squad, players he’ll want to move out.”
“Realistically, it should come as no surprise that you are in the Championship.
There won’t be any fear since they’ll know exactly which players they plan to keep and who they’ll let go if they make it to the Championship.
They are aware of the players they will have to give up. Leeds would be extremely fortunate if they keep their star players.
“Red Bull’s investment might be essential to retaining some of these players.”
“However, athletes have aspirations, and it can be quite challenging to retain a player who is disinterested in playing for the team.
It will be difficult to convince Premier League teams to keep players like Gray, Gnonto, and Summerville at Leeds if they opt to leave this summer.
“They have a chance to retain these players with the investment.”
