Callum Wilson, a striker, is pleased to leave Newcastle United despite interest from other teams.

The Magpies striker is being pursued by three teams, including ones from the Saudi Pro League, according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs.

Although the 32-year-old striker has more than a year left on his Tyneside deal, Newcastle is looking to sell him right away in order to keep their spending under the strict guidelines set by the Premier League.

Wilson has not indicated that he wants to leave St. James’ Park, and even if the Saudi club offers a better salary contract, it is unclear if Wilson will accept a deal.

After leaving AFC Bournemouth in the summer of 2020, the England international joined the Magpies and has since made 108 appearances while scoring 48 goals.

He scored 10 goals in 26 games in all competitions the previous season, and he can still be a major asset to the team.

Newcastle United is scrambling to let go of players.
The Magpies have had terrible luck with their transfer business thus far, and they will need to let go of a few players in order to keep within the budgetary constraints.

While Everton and Aston Villa were able to sell players to remain this month in order to comply with the PSR, Newcastle has been unable to negotiate agreements that suit them.

They had even reached an agreement with Lyon to get rid of Yankuba Minteh, but the youthful striker has refused to relocate to France. Even if Everton is unlikely to rekindle its talks with him, he has expressed his desire to remain in the Premier League and has even agreed to personal terms with the team.

The Magpies are so desperate that they attempted to trade Anthony Gordon, their finest player from the previous campaign, to Liverpool, but negotiations were unsuccessful.
