Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, a Turkish transfer analyst, asserts that the Seagulls are among three teams considering the 24-year-old.

According to Sabuncuoğlu, Albion has reached out to the left-back’s agents in an attempt to sign him before the 2024–25 season.

He tweeted: “Brighton made official contact with the player’s side to add Ferdi Kadıoğlu to their squad and asked about his situation!”

Kadıoğlu is also attracting interest from European powerhouses Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, according to Sabuncuoğlu.

According to Sabuncuoğlu, both teams have the defender on their respective “lists” for transfers, although Dortmund has apparently been turned off by Fenerbahçe’s hefty transfer demands, as neither team has made an official offer as of yet.

Sabuncuoğlu tweeted: “Because Fenerbahçe demanded 30 million euros for the left-back, Borussia Dortmund—which is interested in Ferdi Kadıoğlu—decided to find fresh, alternate names for the player.

“Ferdi is still on Dortmund’s list, but they have not made an official offer yet due to the high transfer request.

Ferdi Kadıoğlu is a player who Manchester United is really interested in. He is officially on their list, even if they haven’t gotten in touch with the club or are prepared to make an offer just yet.

“In the upcoming days, they will meet with the player side to inquire about his interest in joining the club.”
