West Brom are in talks with Championship rivals Hull City over the potential transfer of Okay Yokuslu. The 30-year-old international midfielder is presently on a break following his involvement with Tukey at Euro 2024 in Germany.
Yokuslu has been a consistent figure for West Brom since his initial loan move from Celta Vigo in February 2021, which was later made permanent.
His departure from the Hawthorns would come a shock for Baggies fans if a deal is confirmed. However, with his contract set to expire next summer, Yokuslu is drawing considerable interest. He has been linked with a return to the Super Lig, with Beşiktaş, but the Tigers are now in the box seat to secure his signature.
According to our sister site Hull Live, they are currently negotiating a permanent deal for the 43-cap international. He has made 88 appearances for the Baggies, including 44 last season when Carlos Corberan’s side edged out the Tigers for a play-off spot.
Despite finishing fifth in the standings, West Brom missed out on promotion, losing to eventual play-off winners Southampton. Yokuslu’s involvement in the Euros ended with Turkey’s narrow quarter-final defeat by the Netherlands at the weekend.
