Leeds United are pleased to announce a new two-year commentary deal with BBC Radio Leeds has been agreed.
The new contract signed sees the long-standing relationship between the club and local radio station extend until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
BBC Radio Leeds will continue to provide live commentary of all Leeds United fixtures, home and away, both in league and cup competitions.
The match day commentary team will be headed up by Adam Pope and he will again be joined by guest summarisers, which last season included former managers Simon Grayson and Neil Redfearn, along with former players Aidy White and Jon Newsome.
Throughout the course of the two campaigns, supporters can also hear regular interviews from Leeds United players and staff.
All matches will continue to be broadcast on BBC Radio Leeds 92.4 FM.
Angus Kinnear, chief executive of Leeds United Football Club, said: “We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with BBC Radio Leeds.
“We know how important it is to our supporters to be able to listen to live Leeds United match commentary on local radio.
“Hopefully there are lots of exciting moments ahead and we look forward to what the next two years bring.”
Jonathan Buchan, sports editor at BBC Radio Leeds added: “We’re absolutely delighted to be renewing our relationship with Leeds United for the next two years.
“Following the Whites up and down the country to bring full match commentary of every game is a huge privilege.
“We look forward to being on the journey as they look to go one step further than last season and return to the Premier League.”
