Leeds United has announced that it has reached an agreement with BBC Radio Leeds for a two-year commentary contract.

On July 18, The Whites announced that their affiliation with the radio station would now continue through the conclusion of the 2025–2026 season.

Fans will be able to see live commentary of all Leeds games, along with frequent features like player and manager interviews.

Leeds United and the BBC have confirmed their radio collaboration.
The unfortunate circumstances of the Whites’ loss to Southampton at Wembley prevented them from winning the Premier League through the play-offs.

Fans will now be hoping for promotion as Daniel Farke gets his team ready for another season in the Championship.

Leeds has as strong a chance as anyone if they can hang onto their finest players past the summer transfer deadline.

In any other season in the division’s history, their league-high 90 points would have been sufficient for promotion.

After last year’s memorable moments, such as Archie Gray’s goal against Leicester City, there should be even more next season that will inspire insightful debate.

The BBC will continue to be the voice which provides fans with the opportunity to listen to matches when they can’t follow the team in person.

It is a relationship that will be so important to plenty of Leeds fans and it is hugely positive news to continue into the new campaign.
