According to Fotomac, the Turkish Super Lig team has made a formal offer for the Burnley midfield player, confirming their interest in him.
After the Clarets were relegated from the Premier League at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, the Norwegian has stayed with the team till date.
The Lancashire team under Vincent Kompany performed terribly, failing to even score 30 points in their previous attempt to maintain their position at the top of the division.
So far, their relegation hasn’t had a significant impact as most of their players from the previous season have stayed in the first team.
Despite losing a few loan players from the previous season, selling three goalkeepers, including Aro Muric, and seeing Charlie Taylor sign with Southampton, Scott Parker’s team appears formidable heading into the 2024–2025 season.
When Berge’s former team, Sheffield United, was demoted from the top division in 2021, there was a lot of interest in signing him. Rumors about his future at Bramall Lane persisted until he signed with the Clarets last year.

The player is “keen” to join the team, according to the same source, but it’s unclear if Alan Pace will make an effort to hang on to his key players or if the Norwegian’s stance would assist him go closer to the exit door.
The midfield player, who signed a deal in the neighborhood of £12 million, still has three years left on his Lancashire contract.
If the player departs before the transfer window closes, the Clarets will undoubtedly be eager to turn a profit because they have the upper hand in negotiations.

The Clarets’ supporters, who only joined last year, will be looking to Berge for loyalty.
It would be reasonable if he decided to quit the club after playing for several seasons in search of a more conducive atmosphere.
