Leeds is reportedly prepared to provide a competitive offer for Ljubicic; however, Christian Keller, managing director of Koln, has declined to discuss the matter further.

At the conclusion of a transfer phase, rumors are common, according to Keller.

on stated on Monday, August 26, on page B3, in print form that, following his two goals in Sunday’s 5-0 victory against Braunschweig, “it remains to be seen” whether or not the 26-year-old Austrian midfielder will stay in Cologne.

According to reports, Leeds is willing to make Ljubicic a competitive offer; however, Christian Keller, managing director of Koln, has declined to comment further.

Rumors are typical at the end of a transfer phase, according to Keller.

The Yorkshire giants haven’t exactly splashed the cash to replace Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, Crysencio Summerville, and Georginio Rutter, who Leeds sold for well over £100 million.

With just one victory in four games to begin the season, Daniel Farke’s assault has been led by a young player, Mateo Joseph, which kind of sums up how bad the summer has been.

Yes, Joseph was playing well against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night, but the latter is among the division’s weaker teams. He’s already demonstrated that he won’t be very efficient against teams with greater strength, like West Brom.

A striker and, ideally, a new number 10 are what the Whites need before the transfer market closes. Ljubicic doesn’t belong to either
