Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline in SmackDown’s season opener on the USA Network.

After successfully defending the WWE Undisputed Championship against Sikoa in a steel cage, Cody Rhodes was ambushed by Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Then Reigns made a stunning debut. He defeated the Tongas before being surprised by Sikoa. Reigns recovered control, and with Rhodes’ assistance, they easily defeated the WWE Tag Team Champions. The section concluded with Fatu laying the Ula Fala on Sikoa, but the night wasn’t finished.

Later on the show, Sikoa requested that he and Fatu battle Reigns and Rhodes in WWE’s upcoming premium live event, Bad Blood. Through the Bloodline

In the main event, Reigns returns to the ring to answer Sikoa’s proposal. After seizing the microphone from SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, Reigns addressed the WWE Universe for the first time since WrestleMania XL. He immediately dispelled any misconceptions about his status in his family and within WWE.

I don’t want to confuse anyone. Some things change, but not for me. I don’t need him (pointing toward Nick Aldis). I do not need a contract. This is a family-owned business, a Bloodline business. I don’t need a mate. Cody Rhodes’ assistance is clearly unnecessary for me. Let’s get one thing straight. I am the Tribal Chief, regardless of whether I hold my family’s Ula Fala! And, as you can see, I am not the only original Tribal Chief. I’m the sole Tribal Chief! And don’t ever get it mixed up. This is my ring. This is my show. “This is my WWE.”

After Reigns asserted that the corporation was still his, Rhodes interrupted him. The champion seems turned off by Reigns’ comments as
