Television cameras saw Peter Schmeichel’s response as his son Kasper gave up seven goals and Celtic lost badly to Borussia Dortmund.
The Champions League match began quickly for the Bundesliga team, with Emre Can, a former Liverpool player, starting the massacre from the penalty spot after Schmeichel had taken down Jamie Gittens.

After then, Brendan Rodgers’ team’s night would only get worse as Adeyemi finished his first-half hat-trick and Dortmund added another goal just before halftime through Serhou Guirassy’s penalty kick.
After the break, Dortmund kept up their offensive pressure, and Guirassy added another goal after an hour. Felix Nmecha then sealed the victory in the last minutes.
Peter Schmeichel was seen from the gantry looking irritated as he watched after Nmecha made it seven for the hosts.
Even though the score was unfavorable for the Scottish champions, Schmeichel produced a number of saves during the contest to keep his team from losing even more badly.

The 37-year-old left Leicester after an incredible 11-year run in 2022, and he had successful spells at Nice and Anderlecht before joining Celtic Park on a one-year contract this summer.
