Knight’s firearm According to reports, Kai Pearce-Paul will go free agent and get ready to accept offers from competitors, dealing the Newcastle club even another damage to its contract.

Only a few days have passed since it was announced that Kiwi enforcer Leo Thompson will also test free agency by hitting the open market. Now, the Englishmen have made their decision.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Pearce-Paul, whose current contract expires at the conclusion of the 2025 season, might receive offers of almost $600,000 per season.

Pearce-Paul moved from the Super League before making 22 appearances in the top grade, and Newcastle’s 2024 season was his first in the NRL.

Pearce:Paul apparently hasn’t ruled out staying with the Newcastle team, but on November 1 he is scheduled to meet with rivals to discuss a possible move.

Together with Thompson, who has established himself as the team’s front row leader, the Knights are allegedly desperate to hang onto the big forward.

The explosive back rower made his Super League debut at the age of just 19, and he later made his England debut at the 2021 World Cup.

According to reports, Adam Elliott, Jackson Hastings, and Jayden Brailey have all been told they are allowed to have dinner with competitors.

In the meantime, Daniel Saifiti apparently received a touch on the shoulder regarding his future with the Knights, and he went on to join with the Dolphins.

Thompson’s current contract, which is at a reported $350,000 and expires at the end of 2025, is far less than his market value.

Re-signing Thompson is one of the top targets for Knights recruitment director Peter O’Sullivan, who only joined the team in the middle of the season, as he looks to develop a title contender in the upcoming campaigns.

Thompson reportedly declined O’Sullivan’s offer of an extension and an upgrade for 2025 in favor of waiting to see what else is available.
