Mullin gives Wrexham a point.

Bradford wins the late match.

The outcome “gutted” the striker.

AHEAD OF TIME? Mullin’s strong header in the 68th minute gave the Welsh team hope for a 1-0 victory, but Adam Wilson’s goal five minutes from time insured that both teams finished with a point. The striker praised the traveling supporters of the team and bemoaned the outcome on X, the former Twitter platform, following the game.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: Mullin scored his second goal of the year following his recovery from a preseason lung puncture. Regaining their top player back among the goals is essential to their chances of promotion, as the 28-year-old scored 47 goals in all competitions the previous season. The Red Dragons now sit fourth in the division as a result of the outcome.

Next what? Tuesday’s League Two matchup between Wrexham and Sutton United will take place at the Racecourse Ground.
