The new manager of the team is David Moyes. On Saturday morning, the Scot was officially announced as Sean Dyche’s replacement.
Moyes signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Blues, and Wednesday night’s game against Aston Villa will be his debut game as manager. Prior to this, the 61-year-old managed Everton for 11 years, from 2002 to 2013.
Keeping Everton out of the relegation zone will be Moyes’ first priority. The Blues have only won three Premier League games this season and are only one point above the drop zone. Here is a glance at the reactions of Liverpool ECHO readers to the news.

He has kept Everton solvent by signing players for peanuts and then selling them for enormous sums. He won a European trophy and got West Ham into Europe each year. I fail to see why anyone would not desire it.
