Jake Garrett spent the first half of this season away from Rovers at Bristol Rovers, but Blackburn Rovers are set to loan him out before the end of the transfer window, according to a report by the Lancashire Telegraph. The midfielder is anticipated to be temporarily transferred to a new club this winter.
Garrett, 21, was given the green light to link up with the Gas last summer to get some experience under his belt. He went on to play 11 games during his time at the Memorial Ground, seven of which came in League One.
In this latest update regarding his situation at Ewood Park, the Lancashire Telegraph report he is ‘set’ to depart again this month. They are yet to decide on where to send him at this stage though.
Blackburn Rovers are sat in 5th place in the Championship table and are in the play-offs along with Burnley, Sunderland and West Brom.
