On an unexpected afternoon of firsts in west London, Nathan Collins sentenced the Hammers to a 3-2 defeat, reinforcing the Brentford curse.
After Jarrod Bowen became the first player in Premier League history to score in each of his team’s first six away games, Collins, the defender, netted his first goal for the team.
Furthermore, Brentford forward Neal Maupay scored his first goal in thirty-five games and fourteen months.
Unfortunately, West Ham was denied its first Premier League victory—or even a point—against the Bees. Since they were promoted, Thomas Frank’s team has won all five of their matches against the Hammers, giving them the advantage.

“Though we’re discussing little things, little things can result in greater things. We didn’t handle the minor issues sufficiently.”
Following their third straight win and their 14th London derby without a loss, Brentford moved up above West Ham.
“It feels fantastic, naturally,” Frank remarked. “Every Premier League victory feels incredible, and I’m a happy man after rallying from a 2-1 deficit against a strong club and putting on a strong showing.
“I’m happy for Neal and I’m grinning. Over the past three weeks, he has been demonstrating an increasing amount in training, including deft touches, excellent finishes, growing confidence, and reaching his peak performance.
“Neal’s goal was truly celebrated by the team, and that says a lot about the
