A rival League Two chairman has further criticised Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney of Accrington Stanley, who are still embroiled in a bitter feud with Wrexham.

AHEAD OF TIME?
The Welsh team threatened to reduce their prices by £5 when Stanley visits SToK Racecourse in May after the Red Dragons questioned the decision to raise ticket prices for their visit to Wham Stadium. This sparked a verbal spat between the two teams.

In response to that information, Accrington chairman Andy Holt stated, “Stupid mistimed statements are the last thing football needs.” With Paul Mullin missing a penalty for Wrexham, his team defeated fellow promotion contenders 2-0, giving him the last laugh of the match.

WHAT IT SAYS
After finding out that notable members of Wrexham’s board and fan base were able to watch the game live despite not being in the nation, Holt isn’t going to let the issue go and has posted on social media. He declared: “And @Wrexham_AFC streamed the match globally, a match WE sponsored and paid for, without giving us a single cent in revenue. under guidelines established by the @EFL employee who is currently employed by Wrexham. Don’t start me off, then.

Next what?
Former CEO of the EFL Shaun Harvey is currently an advisor at Wrexham. Throughout Reynolds and McElhenney’s tenure in North Wales, he has been a valuable asset, and the club is leveraging his extensive experience to push for consecutive promotions.
