Juventus are gauging the interest in their youngsters through intermediaries. They might pull the trigger and sell one of them if it allows them to bag one of their top midfield targets.

Per Corriere dello Sport, Crystal Palace have shown major interest in Matias Soulé. They could tender €35M, which the Bianconeri would quickly re-utilize to try signing Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners. Their director Giovanni Manna and Frosinone’s one Guido Angelozzi recently stated that he’d finish the season with the Canaries, though.

According to Calciomercato, Samuel Iling-Junior is wanted by Tottenham and Olympique Marseille. He could depart for €15/20M in January already. Juventus would rather not cash in on Kenan Yildiz, but they could change their mind if Liverpool, Arsenal, or a Bundesliga side offered €35/40M.

The Bianconeri considered partying ways with Soulé last summer, but they demanded €20/25M. Feyenoord were very keen but didn’t get that high. His price tag has skyrocketed since then. A renewal can’t be ruled out, though, considering he’s making 500k annually.

Our Take on the Juventus Strategy
While they might indeed resort to this strategy, the figures seem all out of whack despite their potential. Iling-Junior is realistically the only one who could switch sides in January, as Massimiliano Allegri has taken a close look at him for a couple of seasons and hasn’t liked him enough to give him minutes. Plus, his contract isn’t long-term, and he’s probably not thrilled with his situation either.
