Flamengo has received encouraging indications from Gustavo Scarpa that he is now prepared to leave Nottingham Forest and return to Brazil. The player is prepared to return to his own country, despite having only joined with the Reds in January.

Scarpa played in just 10 games for Forest last season as they won their way back into the Premier League. In addition to dealing with some personal troubles, he did struggle with injuries.

In the end, he never really persuaded Steve Cooper that he was competent enough to start Premier League games. Consequently, Forest decided to let him go in the summer, and he signed a loan with Olympiacos.

Scarpa gives a club that is interested encouraging indicators.
CNN reports that Scarpa, the attacker for Forest, is now showing indications of improvement for Flamengo ahead of the January transfer window. The team has spoken with the Forest player and is eager to sign him next month.

Scarpa and his representatives have received such excellent reaction that they intend to pursue signing him. Scarpa’s departure would not trouble Forest, who would be happy to have his £30,000 weekly salary removed from their payroll.

It will be necessary for Forest to keep cutting players when the January transfer market opens. Given how fat the squad already is, it makes perfect sense to let Scarpa go.

It would be wise for Scarpa to leave Forest.
Scarpa has no guilt about being in England and finding that things aren’t quite working out. He’s simply never been able to get going at Forest, and a lot of things have worked against him.

There is still plenty of time for the 29-year-old to play regular football. In light of this, he must be seriously considering a return to Brazil given how little chance he had at Olympiacos lately.

Scarpa is a skilled player who, when at his best, can really threaten someone. Relocating from Forest back to Brazil, where he won the Golden Ball with Palmeiras, would be perfect for the striker.
