If Nottingham Forest decides to part ways with Steve Cooper, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano believes Nuno Espirito Santo, a former manager of Wolves and Tottenham, is a “top candidate.”
With the Reds having won only one of their last 13 games, there has been growing speculation regarding Cooper’s status. They have five points but are only one spot above the relegation zone following their 2-0 loss to Spurs on Friday night and the weekend’s events.
To be fair to Forest, though, their performances in the two games following their 5-0 loss at Fulham have shown a set of players who, in spite of a significant player turnover, are still loyal to the coach who brought them up from the bottom of the Championship to the top flight.
