We believe the Australian head coach of Tottenham Hotspur will choose the following squad for the Premier League encounter
Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League encounter against Everton on Saturday afternoon is intended to give their supporters a pre-Christmas present.
The north London team, who has recovered from a brief sticky spell, welcomes the hot-shot Toffees with the intention of making it three wins in a row. Although Sean Dyche’s team has won their last four Premier League games, they lost to Fulham at home in a penalty shootout midweek to advance out of the Carabao Cup quarterfinal.
Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie, who received their fifth yellow card and red card, respectively, in the victory against Nottingham Forest eight days prior, are not available for Tottenham for this match. Ange Postecoglou, the manager of the Spurs, still has decisions to make about his club, and they are in the midfield and up front despite the injuries and bans in his squad.
At the back, Udogie’s one-game suspension could mean Emerson Royal will come in on the left unless Eric Dier were to come in from the cold with Ben Davies going back on the flank.
Then with Bissouma now out for a while with his four-game suspension after that red card at the City Ground and then departing for the Africa Cup of Nations, Postecoglou must decide whether to go with the experience of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or finally give Oliver Skipp a role in his natural number six position.
Giovani Lo Celso is also back in contention but with Dejan Kulusevski doing so well in a deeper role the Swede could be preferred on the left. Brennan Johnson is available to play despite his head injury at Forest after training all week, while young centre-back Ashley Phillips is back in training after his ankle injury.

Right-back – Pedro Porro
Pedro Porro has enjoyed a fine season in Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham team
Postecoglou will be looking for the Spaniard to continue to create down his flank.
Centre-back – Cristian Romero

The Argentine needs to steer clear of a yellow card for the next two matches otherwise he will receive another suspension.
Centre-back – Ben Davies
The Welshman has filled in well for the injured Micky van de Ven and should continue to do so.
Left-back – Emerson Royal
The Brazilian right-back could be asked to come in on the left once again.
