Earlier today, we’ve seen reports claiming Nottingham Forest placed a new bid for the signing of Ibrahim Sangaré from PSV.
Now an update from journalist Rik Elfrink claims Sangaré will make today a decision about the potential move to Nottingham Forest.
It’s said the Reds can ‘almost meet’ PSV’s request, as they’re willing to pay around €35m and €35.5m.
It’s highlighted that Sangaré still trained with the Dutch side today, and the decision is completely in his hands.
Elfrink makes it clear that even though the deal between PSV and Nottingham Forest ‘seems close’, it’s all about the player’s desire.
Sangaré started the season with full strength at PSV, as he already has seven appearances for the club, and scored two goals in the Champions League’s playoff stage so far.
The Dutch side last night beat Rangers in a decisive game which took them to the group stage. That was said to be one of the factors which would delay the deal, and with that now over, there’s a clearer path for the move now.
