Callum Hudson-Odoi is expected to join the Reds, according to the most recent Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive.

It has been reported that Callum Hudson-Odoi will have a medical at Nottingham Forest today, which is deadline day (Friday).

The 22-year-old had been on Forest’s radar for some time, but Fulham presented a challenge. After the Cottagers walked away from negotiations after having a proposal rejected earlier this summer, their pursuit of the Chelsea winger had advanced.

But earlier this week, it was asserted that Fulham had resumed negotiations and opened new lines of communication. Hudson-Odoi spent the previous season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen after becoming unnecessary at Stamford Bridge.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that despite Fulham’s interest, the winger has decided to rejoin Steve Cooper at the City Ground. Cooper had previously been his youth coach in England.

The clubs came to an agreement, says Romano, and a physical has been “booked for early morning.” In recent months, Hudson-Odoi had been working out with Chelsea’s under-21 team as the team tried to come up with a solution.

The winger will sign for the Reds as their seventh summer addition. Anthony Elanga, Murillo, Matt Turner, Ola Aina, Andrey Santos, and Gonzalo Montiel are the newest members of Cooper.
