Yasin Ayari, a midfielder for Albion, has joined Blackburn Rovers on loan for the remainder of the season after leaving Coventry City.
The 20-year-old Swedish international, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Coventry, teams up with another Albion player Andy Moran at Ewood Park.
“Yasin was a regular in the squad at Coventry, but he was finding playing time limited,” technical director David Weir stated.
“We believe that moving to Blackburn will provide him with additional playing opportunities, and we’re excited to monitor his development during the second half of the season. Yasin signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Albion in January 2023 after leaving Swedish team AIK.
In April 2023, he made his Premier League debut in our 2-0 victory over Bournemouth as a replacement. He then made his first start in the season finale against Aston Villa.
