The loan move of former Chelsea youth player Ike Ugbo from French club Troyes to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday could prove to be beneficial to Wrexham, who are eyeing a move for the Owls’ veteran forward Lee Gregory, according to Football League World.

The Red Dragons are yet to make a new signing in the ongoing January transfer window despite Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s willingness to spend money. The club have been linked with a move for Gregory since December, although the Championship side was not ready to let him leave. But with Ugbo’s arrival at the club, Gregory could finally move out and join the Welsh side.
