Wrexham will be pleased to hear that Humphrys and Wycombe have not achieved such an agreement. The former Hearts and Fulham star is apparently the target of the Welsh squad, who are trying to bolster their offensive line in an attempt to increase their chances of getting promoted to League One. Humphrys has scored seven goals in the third division so far this season while playing for Wigan in League One.

FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM?
With regards to their attempts to capture Humphrys from Wigan before the January transfer window ends, the League Two outfit will be hoping for late developments. Before the league match on February 3 against Salford, the Red Dragons will want a new forward in place.
