In the humorous SToK Super Bowl ad, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney asked Sir Anthony Hopkins, a Hollywood legend, to become the mascot of Wrexham.

Consequently, what happened?
Hopkins appears in this out-of-the-ordinary commercial as Wrex the Dragon, the mascot of Wrexham, for a commercial made by Reynolds’s Maximum Effort production business.

Hopkins adds, “To act is to deceive,” in the advertisement. “But, to become this beast well, that requires a little extra kick.”

The next scene shows Hopkins chatting with supporters on the field at STok Cae Ras while dressed as a dragon. He yells, “This is what they came to see,” in a loud voice. They cherish me! Hurrah!”

In a hilarious turn of events, Hopkins claims that STōK’s cold brew is what gave rise to the fire-breathing dragon while sipping from a glass in the locker room during halftime.

The performer responds, “Ironically it is the cold brew that births the fire-breathing dragon.”

The commercial ends with Hopkins being informed that the second half of the game is about to start, accompanied by background chanting of “Wrexham! Wrexham!”
