After obtaining a full agreement to sign highly-coveted winger Ibrahim Osman, Brighton has succeeded where West Ham failed. The amount they will pay and the expected arrival date of Osman have been made public.

During the winter transfer window, West Ham tried to bolster their left winger lineup. The Hammers intended to release Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals, and they specifically targeted a successor for Benrahma on the left wing.

However, despite the departure of Benrahma (Lyon) and Fornals (Real Betis), West Ham was unable to find a successor.

The team considered moves for Ibrahim Osman of Nordsjaelland and Jota of Al-Ittihad. Fabrizio Romano really disclosed that a bid above £18 million was submitted for Osman, but it was later turned down.

There were numerous Premier League teams after the 19-year-old right-footed player. Reporter Ben Jacobs added that Brighton and Crystal Palace had expressed interest in addition to West Ham.

As of right now, Osman’s Premier League starting spot for the upcoming campaign will be in Brighton, said David Ornstein of the Athletic.

The player and Nordsjaelland have reached a “full agreement” with the Seagulls. Osman has also previously cleared a medical exam.

Brighton will hand the Danish side €19.5 million, or roughly £16.6 million, and because the January transfer window ended last week, Osman will have to wait until the summer to visit the south coast of England.

Osman is carrying on the legacy of his fellow Ghanaian, Simon Adingra. Both players came to Brighton after spending a short time with Nordsjaelland, having excelled at the Right to Dream academy in their native Ghana.

The Seagulls are a great club for developing young talent to refine their trade and have recently shown themselves to be excellent operators in the transfer market.

Roberto De Zerbi, the manager of Brighton, will be hoping that his team has executed another brilliant move in the market. Osman’s development at the AMEX will undoubtedly be closely monitored at West Ham as well.
