COVENTRY Mark Robins, the manager of City, has been nominated for the January manager of the month award in the Championship.
With 10 points from four games, Robins led the Sky Blues to an undefeated month and helped City move into the play-off spots.
Coventry started the month off strong, defeating Middlesbrough 3-1 on the road. Later, in the M69 derby, they overcame league leaders and rivals Leicester City by coming from behind. Additionally, City’s excellent start to 2024 was maintained with a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday. The Sky Blues finished the month with a 2-2 home draw with Bristol City.
The other nominees for the award are Russell Martin (Southampton), Ian Foster (Plymouth Argyle), and Daniel Farke (Leeds United).
