Luis Sinisterra and Jaidon Anthony’s swap loan agreement between Leeds and Bournemouth has developed further, with one of the terms becoming permanent.
Sinisterra left Feyenoord to join Leeds at the beginning of the 2022–2023 season after the Whites had just missed out on promotion on the last day of the previous campaign. Although he scored five goals in 19 games for the Elland Road team, his attacking output was insufficient to sustain them as their season-ending comeback ended in final-day relegation, capping a three-year run in the top division.
In the summer, Bournemouth extended an offer for him to rejoin the Premier League on a loan basis, while Jaidon Anthony moved on to another team in a temporary arrangement that benefited both parties financially and strategically. However, Sinisterra will not be going back to West Yorkshire in the near future since, according to a number of sources, the Cherries have paid a significant sum of money to sign the Colombian star to a long-term contract.

After a successful loan period, Andoni Iraola’s team reportedly exercised a condition to make Sinisterra’s deal permanent, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer guru says that the necessary paperwork is being completed and that an announcement will be made later this week regarding the signing of the agreement.
A little less than the £21.4 million Leeds paid for Sinisterra’s services from Feyenoord 18 months ago, Bournemouth will reportedly pay £20 million to bring him to the Dorset coast on a full-time basis. With wages saved this season, Sinisterra’s outlay isn’t too bad for a club that has dropped down a division.
