Wolves full-back Bendeguz Bolla is reportedly on the verge of leaving Molineux again on loan.
The Hungary international has not played for Wolves’ first-team since joining the club two years ago from Fehérvár.
He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Swiss outfit Grasshoppers, a club Wolves have a good relationship with and one that is owned by the wife of Wolves owner Guo Guangchang.
Bolla made 66 appearances for the club, scoring six goals and making seven assist, which are respectable numbers for a right-back.
And now, it looks as though Bolla is heading for a fresh move…
Bendeguz Bolla set to join Servette on loan from Wolves, medical tomorrow
Fabrizio Romano has reported this morning that Bolla, 23, is now set to leave Molineux on a temporary basis again.
He reports that he will join Servette, who are a Swiss club based in Geneva.
Romano says that the deal has been sealed, and that a medical should be taking place on Monday.
He adds that Servette have negotiated an option to buy the player from Wolves. But it is not made clear what that figure is.
Bolla seemingly another Hayao Kawabe for Wolves
So Bolla is off for another loan move, and hopefully he can enjoy a good season over in Switzerland again.
He obviously knows the league well from his time with Grasshoppers, so Wolves will be confident he can hit the ground running.
Seemingly, Bolla is another Hayao Kawabe for Wolves.
Kawabe was signed by the club but never featured for the first-team and was sold to Standard Liege earlier this summer for £1.3 million.
Wolves made a small profit on him, and potentially the same could happen with Bolla since Servette do apparently have a purchase option.
It will be interesting to see if it gets triggered next year and how much profit Wolves will make on the £800,000 signing.
