Timothy Castagne has issued a heartfelt goodbye to Leicester City after stealing a move to Fulham.

The Belgian joined the Foxes from Italian side Atalanta in 2020 for a fee in the region of €20m (£17.2m). He went on to make over 100 appearances for City

But confirmation of his departure to West London was confirmed on Tuesday. The defender has joined the Cottagers in a reported £15million transfer on a four-year contract.

And the Belgian posted a message on Instagram sharing the “pride and honour” of having played for City. He also shared that his favourite moment was winning the FA Cup in 2021.

He said: “Dear Leicester City, it’s with pride and honour that I have worn this shirt for 3 seasons. We’ve accomplished one of the greatest moments of my career, winning the FA Cup.

“We had some ups and downs but I have so many great memories and I will carry all these beautiful moments with my teammates and fans in my heart
