As the transfer season closes, Nottingham Forest is making a strong effort to try to recruit Real Betis central midfielder Guido Rodriguez. The 29-year-old has been associated with the Reds, and they are eager to complete a deal.

The Reds are currently in communication with the La Liga team once more, according to Sevilla ABC. Given that Ibrahim Sangare is also expected to join for the Reds, it is obvious that the team is interested in another midfielder.

Since 2020, Rodriguez has resided in Spain. He joined the team after leaving Mexican team America and has won over the Real Betis faithful.
The Spanish team’s central midfielder has played in 147 games. He has won the World Cup with Argentina and assisted the team in winning the Copa del Rey during the 2021–2022 season.

Forest is now reentering the competition to sign Rodriguez. He was coveted earlier in the summer, but a deal seemed to be rather difficult.

Rodriguez has a ton of gaming experience. As he approaches his 30s, he might enjoy a shot at Premier League football.

Rodriguez is being moved in by Forest
This appears to be an intriguing one. It may seem unusual that Forest is currently seeking for another midfielder given that the Sangare trade appears to be nearing conclusion.

Orel Mangala and Danilo are currently being treated for minor wounds. However, if Nicolas Dominguez and Sangare succeed in crossing the finish line, the squad feels pretty well-stocked in that area.

It’s difficult to fault Forest for seeking choices for the team, though. The depth was rather inadequate last year, but it appears that won’t be the case in the 2023–2024 campaign.
