Blackpool has earned their first league victory since the season’s opener game.

At Bloomfield Road, Kenny Dougall struck in injury time to give the Seasiders a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic.

Jordan Rhodes’ goal in the fourth minute gave Neil Critchley’s team the lead for the rest of the game, but a late equalizer caused them to lose the advantage before they swiftly regained it.

Wigan Athletic dominated possession and had 68 percent of the ball.

Jensen Weir (2), Callum Connolly, CJ Hamilton, Jake Beesley, Jordan Rhodes and Kenny Dougall all had shots on target. Meanwhile, Rhodes also had four off target.
