As has been previously reported, tensions at Borussia Dortmund are beginning to build behind the scenes. Die Schwarzgelben have fallen short of expectations after coming so close to winning the Meisterschale last season, only picking up five points from their first three games.
However, rather than the outcomes, the Dortmund board will be more frustrated by the underwhelming performances. This has caused people in control at the club to start talking about a potential replacement for current head coach Edin Terzi.
If Terzi is unable to turn around the team’s woes, a move for the former head coach of Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann, may start to heat up, according to Bild. Nagelsmann is still under contract with the Bavarians through 2026, so if BvB were to contact him, Die Rekordmeister would have to agree to a fee.
Terzi will undoubtedly be on the sidelines until the Bundesliga begins following the international break, however. But only by leading the Black and Yellows back to the top of the Bundesliga standings will he be able to put an end to rumors about his future.

TENSIONS AT BORUSSIA DORTMUND BEHIND THE SCENE
Borussia Dortmund has reportedly experienced tensions due to the team’s disappointing start to the season, according to Sport1.
Dortmund is still undefeated, but following their 2-2 tie with Heidenheim, the supporters have started to turn against the squad. Following the draw, the team was jeered off the field as fans vented their resentment on the players, the manager, and the board of directors.
In the game against Heidenheim, Dortmund labored late on and at times appeared out of shape. While manager Edin Terzic has thus far failed to forge a playing identity within the club this season, his player tactical decisions have not been successful.
Behind the scenes at Dortmund, tensions have increased off the field. According to rumors, Terzic, Sebastian Kehl, and Hans-Joachim Watzke do not agree on all club-related issues.
This was evident in the summer when Terzic blocked Kehl’s attempts to recruit Edson Lvarez and chose Emre Can instead. Lvarez and Kehl had even established a personal agreement. As a result of Dortmund failing to sign a quality replacement for Jude Bellingham and failing to strengthen other weak areas despite receiving €103 million for the Englishman, conflicts in squad planning have gotten worse at the start of the season.
