According to sources, Jannik Vestergaard, a defender for Leicester City, is still negotiating to leave the organization this summer.

According to Belgian writer Sacha Tavolieri, the player and Anderlecht have held “talks.”

It’s only unclear whether they’re trying to transfer permanently from Leicester City or whether they’re just trying to get a loan from them, with the latter making far more sense.

Tavolieri claims that no personal terms have yet been agreed upon, indicating that the negotiations are still in their early stages.
However, since the Belgian transfer window ends on Wednesday, there are still two days to complete the trade.

Since Vestergaard has started every game for Leicester City in the Championship thus far, losing him now would be a major setback for the Foxes, who won’t be able to replace him until January.

However, the 31-year-old’s contract with the team only lasts through the end of the current campaign, giving him the option to leave for free the following summer.

His current Transfermarkt valuation is €4 million, and we’ll see what the English side wants in return for this trade.
