According to a recent analysis, Nottingham Forest now have three players who are equally valuable to Brennan Johnson.
The CIES Football Observatory has disclosed some data. They are a Swiss research team that does out studies on football and offers recommendations.
Based on how many years are left on a player’s contract, they determine the player’s value. The most recent analysis, which was published at the end of August, asserts that Forest has three players that are on par with Johnson in terms of value.
Danilo, Morgan Gibbs-White, and last-minute signing The three athletes are Ibrahim Sangare. According to the study, the three are all valued similarly to Johnson.
On the final day for transfers, Johnson was purchased by Tottenham. He cost Spurs £47.5 million, and Forest decided to sell to bolster the team before the deadline.
Over the past two seasons, the 22-year-old has been a revelation for the Reds. His 19 goals helped the team gain promotion, and he scored eight goals in the Premier League last year.
However, this most recent study may demonstrate that there is still hope after Johnson. The player that just left is currently valued at the same level as Gibbs-White, Danilo, and Sangare.
Forest also has additional players that aren’t far behind. In the study, Taiwo Awoniyi and Anthony Elanga are not far behind.
Three players on par with Johnson are thought to be in Forest.
Without Johnson, the Reds can start scoring. He did score some significant goals last season, and Forest will miss his pace to some extent.
Players like Divock Origi, Gibbs-White, Elanga, and Awoniyi are all aware of where the goal is. They will be entrusted with identifying the objectives that Forest has to achieve in order to advance.
Forest will hopefully have an easy time adjusting to life without Johnson. Now that the team is well-rounded in every department, Steve Cooper may find himself at the City Ground for some more great success.
