According to Soccernet, Super Eagles attacker Taiwo Awoniyi took home the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month honors at Nottingham Forest for the month of August.
The 2023–24 Premier League season has gotten off to a fast start for Awoniyi. Due to fitness concerns, the Super Eagles attacker did not begin Nottingham Forest’s season opener against Arsenal. He came off the bench to give them a 2-1 victory, though, with a consolation goal.
