Dominic Matteo, a former star for Leeds United, thinks Daniel Farke is putting together a solid team for the future with the help of the Yorkshire giants’ current excellent roster.
Leeds’ season has gotten off to a rough start due to squad unrest; they have only won one of their first five Championship games.
Leeds was able to overcome some of the early-season upheaval thanks to some strong additions to the team near the end of the summer, but the transfer window is now ended.
Matteo thinks Farke has put together a talented group of players who excel in the team’s most important positions.
The former Leeds great emphasized the significance of the manager assembling a strong team and spending enough time on the practice field to communicate with the players going forward.
“I think the squad are very strong now and we have a great set of players,” Matteo remarked on LUTV.
“It’s time to stitch things together, and ideally the manager got the opportunity to communicate his ideas and views to the players and to stitch them together.
When everyone is healthy, “and perhaps have an idea about the team that he is going to play,”
On Sunday against Millwall, Leeds will try to win their second league game of the year.
