This Tuesday, both Celtic and Rangers turn their attention to European competition, with the Hoops beginning their group stage Champions League campaign against Feyenoord and the Light Blues playing Real Betis in their opening Europa League match.
Both Glasgow teams won in the league over the weekend, with the Ibrox team defeating St. Johnstone 2-0 at McDiarmid Park and the Parkhead team, the defending champions, sweeping aside Dundee 3-0.
Despite the summer transfer market having already closed, transfer news is still making the rounds. An English Premier League club is keeping an eye on a Celtic forward, and a present Rangers defender has addressed leave rumors.

According to rumors, Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou are considering a January transfer bid for Celtic forward Daizen Maeda.
The dynamic Japanese star is reportedly being “monitored” by the Premier League club, with Postecoglou eager for a potential reunion with his former player.
According to a TEAMtalk story, the Hoops would ask for £25 million for Maeda, the same amount they paid for Portuguese winger Jota, who left for Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League earlier this summer.
Despite being linked with numerous clubs, including Southampton, 25-year-old Maeda just signed a new contract extension with Brendan Rodgers’ team till 2027. He has played 76 times for the Scottish champions thus far, contributing 13 assists and 19 goals.
Maeda was a cornerstone of Postecoglou’s treble-winning squad last season, and he continues to be a constant who can play anywhere along the frontline.
