After coming off the bench against Hull City and making an impact in the 0-0 draw, winger Crysencio Summerville has received high praise from Leeds United boss Daniel Farke.

The Whites will be aware that after significant opportunities in the first half, they might have, and perhaps should have, returned from a trip to Hull City with a second straight victory.

However, seeing out a 0-0 draw is a win for Leeds given the circumstances surrounding Joe Rodon’s second yellow card in the second half.

Crysencio Summerville’s playing style.
After a chaotic match at Millwall on Sunday, Crysencio Summerville started on the bench but was brought into action earlier than anticipated as Willy Gnonto was forced to leave due to injury.

The Dutchman, however, was fired up and gave himself and his teammates numerous opportunities in the opening period.

He played through Georginio Rutter in a one-on-one situation and caused Ryan Allsop to make a number of excellent saves, but the striker stumbled and missed his opportunity.

Even when Leeds went down a man, Summerville continued to pose a threat since his ball carrying resulted in three professional fouls against Hull players, which resulted in three yellow cards for Hull players.

Farke praises the young person
Given that his talent would have seen him start for every team in the division and a good number of top-flight teams as well, manager Farke has heaped praise on his work ethic when he was introduced to the team off the bench.

According to Leeds Live, Farke stated the following when asked how he felt about sitting on the sidelines:

“Yes, 100%.

“Because this is precisely what we should consider while looking at the side.

“Give everything for this team when you’re on the field; don’t be upset if you’re occasionally left off the starting lineup.

“We also got the feeling Cree it was a really good performance at Millwall but he had a difficult pre-season also came back from injury then he had a knock against a shoulder so a few problems so we got the feeling so it makes sense, three games in six days, and I also need his creativity in the next home game to start him from the bench and to bring him in when the game is a bit more settled,” said Cree.

I was forced to bring him in.
